Pups and Disney World. Is this heaven?
Your favorite fluffy companion can now accompany you to select resorts at WDW. Of course, there's rules and regulations but this is still exciting news.
Starting on October 15th, there will be four WDW resorts checking-in man's best friend. These are Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. According to the Disney Parks website this will come with a fee per night. The fee will range up to $75 per night. Any pups are welcome as long as they are leashed at all times, trained, vaccinated up to certain standards.

Upon arrival your pup will receive a welcome kit including essentials like a mat, bowls, a pet ID tag, plastic disposable bags, puppy pads and dog walking maps. I love the welcome kit idea. It's that extra little pixie dust for people who know the struggles of traveling with dogs. Rest assured while at the parks. Disney will provide special "Do Not Disturb" signs letting staff know a dog is in the room and for another added fee you can send your pup to doggy day care at the appropriately named "Best Friends" facility.
It's great to see that our pooches can now experience the most magical place on earth.
Who's bringing their dog on their next WDW trip?
